Tess at School

Tess continues to make leaps and bounds in her English! She has little phrases she uses all the time. Like, "Last time..." "But Mommy..." "I'm too little to do..." "That's too tricky for me!" Sweet baby girl!

As I am typing this she is doing a puzzle and singing at the top of her voice, "The Ants go Marching Down" I have a couple of pictures I took last Friday of Tess at her school. She started going to pre-school in January. It's one day a week for 3 hours. I call it "puppy class". There are more speech pathologists and PT's than kids! We're so sad it's over! Her last day is this Friday.

But, we are so ready for summer here at our house! One more week!
All smiles with her Strawberry Shortcake backpack!

What a cutie pie!

Blake went on a pretend "Missions Trip" to Africa with his class at school. He did "security".

This is just amazing, how you have integrated that sweet child into your family - I empathise with all the changes it will bring to Tess and you, for three of our dear grandchildren (11, 9 & 6) have just left their school-from-hell and moved to somewhere in which they will really thrive. I think about you all frequently and feel so privileged to share your news. (72-year-old UK grandma)

I think Tess gets more and more beautiful by the day! She looks like she put a bit of weight on her, has she?
I love that picture of her.

Tell Blake he can come on a real mission trip to Romania any time he wants! We'll be waiting!

Our family is in the final countdown to adopting a little girl from Vladimir. I loved reading through your blog and have appreciated so many of the observations and challenges you have shared. It is so encouraging! Thank you, and know that the time and effort you have put into your blog is still reaping dividends. Would it be too much to ask for a quicky update? Thanks.
